The Precinct Hotel commissioned us to design an invite and marketing material for a corporate luncheon. A family owned and operated establishment, the Darcy family wanted an A5 sized invite which embodied both their proud 85 year history in Richmond, and the modern look and feel that the building has achieved today.
The Precinct are known for both intimate and casual dining, for live entertainment and big screen sporting events and these are the themes they wanted to capture along with a strong emphasis on food and family. To meet the challenge, we designed a collage of photos and hand-drawn illustrations. To give the invite more impact, it was printed as an A3 poster then folded to A5 to form the unique invitation.
The same illustrative theme and feel was adapted to letterheads, menus, marketing collateral and an A5 presentation folder.
