Metricon Homes, one of Australia's leading residential builders, appointed Studio Equator to create a flexible sub-brand. The brand needed to have the ability to be displayed in Metricon showrooms and also to stand alone in a separate retail environment.
Studio M was hence developed as a unique retail proposition with the objective of increasing sales for the overall Metricon brand.
This was achieved by creating a simple and specific identity, including the design of an aesthetically current showroom which had a highly logical and easy to navigate layout.
Materials were chosen and building/finishing techniques were applied to create an authentic, professional environment and to provide topical interest and texture.
