Lux Bite is a new Swiss roll and macaron concept store on Toorak Road, which is owned and managed by young energetic chefs with a passion for pastries and an enthusiastic approach.
Studio Equator designed a simple concept depicting a traditional French macaron store feel, mixed with a Melbourne flavour.
Joinery, chalkboard and antique refinished chairs were used in a minimal architectural approach to ensure the space showcases the main offer of macarons. A minimal colour palette was used in the fit out to emphasise the strong colour of the product.
This colour palette was applied throughout all applications, and then strong PMS colours reminiscent of the macaron colours were also applied to the business cards along with the custom designed logo. Embossing was used on the cards to give a textured and luxurious feel.
