The Guest Group, the founder of Guests Furniture, is a family owned and operated business with over 80 years experience in furniture. Studio Equator was commissioned to re-brand the group, and to create sub-brands for each of the company's branches.
Guest Hire provides hire solutions for long or short term furnishing needs. Guest Interiors provide Interior Design solutions and Guest Commercial blends interior design, manufacturing and project management to furnish hotels, motels, serviced apartments, restaurants, clubs, student accommodation and aged care facilities.
The branding for these three companies was extremely inconsistent and only Guest Hire had existing marketing. studio equator’s task was to create a master brand, and bring the three sub-brands in line with it, while still retaining a point of difference for each.
We created a visual hierarchy with one common look. A physical form / logo was designed to be applied to all brands. This is strong, minimal, architectural and easily adaptable to all challenges and applications including printing, sales, internal communications, stationery, signage and websites.
Colour harmonies were applied to distinguish each of the brands within this common visual identity.
The Guest Group also incorporates Suite Deals, ex-display furniture clearance centres, an up market retail division Janne Guest Sofas and a manufacturing division - Lounge designer furniture, specialising in the production and sale of quality custom made upholstered lounge furniture.
