Encore Pizzeria Website
An existing client, Encore Pizzeria approached Studio Equator to design their new website, with the aim of re-branding and growing their business with an emphasis on online ordering.
It was decided that Studio Equator would first conduct a design audit, to identify how design could be strategically used to help achieve their financial and non-financial goals, and get the best return on design investment.
Our design audit included an evaluation of the existing brand and its point of difference, a comprehensive analysis of industry competitors, interior fit out, signage, packaging, product offering, current and prospective clientele, marketing strategy and of course, the website.
The design audit findings revealed a gap in the market for a quality pizza offering at an affordable price - it was affirmed that price should not compromise the taste or quality of the product.
Creating a strategy on this basis, the website look and feel called for an accessible and textural approach that was reminiscent of a more gourmet offering.
The website was to be simple to use, easy to navigate and straight to the point with emphasis on online ordering facilities.
Studio Equator worked very closely with Encore's in-house graphics team to ensure that the website front and back-end perfectly marries the ongoing in-store marketing and communications.
