Designer Kidz is a leader in the design and manufacture of high quality reasonably priced designer wear in Australia. Originally an online and party planning business only, owner Sharon Chamravi decided to expand the business with two stores in shopping centres Eastland and Southland.
studio equator designed a new concept corporate identity for Designer Kidz that was applied to business cards, letterheads, shopping bags, swing tags and signage and fit out for the new stores.
Custom typography and illustration designed for the corporate identity were used across all applications, including large format graphics and shop mannequins, contributing to a truly unique shopfront.
For the fit out, studio equator drew inspiration from the popular children's game snakes and ladders, and a fun interactive snaking wall feature was designed for interior walls, which also serves to direct attention to the product.
