Alter It is Melbourne's leading clothing alterations dressmaking and clothing repairs franchise, and has become an icon in the industry in the more than ten years they have been operating. More recently, Alter It has expanded their business from clothing alterations and now also provides dry-cleaning and shoe repairs.

A valued client of Studio Equator’s, Alter It asked us to assist them with the strategy and creation of a new website that would engage both their clients and their staff.
Our solution was an interactive website with social media activation and a strong focus on interesting content.

A blog and a tips section are an important feature of the site, allowing for staff to share industry related tips, trends and admired alterations, as well as sharing client testimonials and staff stories.

Studio Equator also set up Facebook and Twitter pages and linked these to the website to enable easy sharing of content to these social media portals.

Because of Alter It’s recent expansion to include a pick-up and delivery service, we also added an e-commerce functionality to enable clients to register as a customer by entering their contact details and credit card details, which are kept safe with the secure NAB Transact payment portal.  Automated emails are used to notify Alter It staff, and welcome the new customer.

The website’s front-end design is clean and easy to navigate. Links to key pages are also accessible through image short-cuts on the home page, where the visible content of the blog, tips and people pages rotates each time the page is refreshed to allow for new content to be at the forefront each time the website is visited.
