interior design

Interior design is the design of a built interior within a structure using creative and technical solutions that are both functional and aesthetically attractive.  The interior design methodology includes research, analysis and integration of knowledge into the creative process to achieve an end result that fulfills the project goal - the needs and desires of the client.
Different disciplines are drawn on during the interior design process including architecture, product design, decoration, environmental psychology and sustainable practices.
Interior design includes the planning of spaces of almost every type of building including hotels, restaurants, bars, cafes, corporate spaces, schools, hospitals, shopping malls, food outlets, supermarkets, and airport terminals.
