"Packaging & point of sale is the evaluation, production and promotion of packages to embrace products for distribution and sale".
Packaging design should draw interest to the product, and be consistent to the corporate identity and branding. It will also often need to include information relevant to the product. Packaging needs are very diverse, and need to be highly customised to reflect the intent of the client, which could be anything from bold to innocuous, innovative to stylish, mysterious to exciting. studio equator's goal when designing packaging is to make the client want to look, make them want to read and make them want to buy.
Packaging is used in most industries including food & beverage, fashion & apparel, cosmetics, hardware, machinery and automotive, lifestyle associated products, cd / dvd design and software.
