Graphic design is a professional discipline which focuses on visual communication and presentation.  Symbols, images and words are combined to create a visual representation of ideas and messages.
Techniques such as art direction, typography, composition, illustration and other visual arts are used in the graphic design process to create an interesting, aesthetically attractive design, which may be used in various applications including a corporate logo or identity, advertisements, packaging, signage, brochures, magazines and other print material, or decorative graphics for interior design applications.
