Why “fake collage”? Because people, what you are going to see are 100% oil on canvas paintings! Nathan James was born (1979) in Kirkland Lake, Canada, but now he’s living and working in London. His paintings are super-combos of pop elements, such as trendy youth photorealistic portraits, logos, icons, comics, splashes, graffiti, etc… Stunning colorful pop bombs on canvas.

After his Diploma in Visual Art Studies, he exhibited in North America and Europe.

“With these paintings James explores the notion that mass media materialism can indeed fulfill some of their promises of leisure and enjoyment but at the cost of forfeiting some of the subjects’ humanity.”
